Suzann Woodward - President

With more than 40 years of experience in public accounting, Suzann Woodward has a diverse background. She was associated with a regional CPA firm in Uvalde for 13 years, including 4 years as a partner in the firm. There she was the Audit Review partner for all audits prepared by the firm, preparing of all types of income tax returns. She was an Assistant Vice-President and Trust Officer for First State Bank of Uvalde for four years where she invested for the 100+ trusts for which she was trustee as well as prepared all trust and estate tax returns for the Trust Department. After graduating from Angelo State University with a B.B.A. in accounting, she worked as an accountant for Mobil Oil Corporation for 2 years.

Suzann is active in various organizations in Boerne currently serving as President on the Board of Directors for Hill Country Mission for Health, a charitable primary healthcare clinic. She is a past treasurer of the Boerne Community Theatre and Rainbow Senior Center, a past President of Hill Country Women in Business, and was voted HCWIB Woman of the Year in 1999. Suzann is also a Past Centennial President of the Rotary Club of Boerne, and was a previous Treasurer for three years at the Hill Country Newcomers Club. Suzann is a member of Kendall County Economic Development and Oak Hills Church.

Suzann Woodward, CPA and her staff office at 512 E. Blanco Rd, Suite 200, Boerne, Texas. Her firm provides accounting and taxation services for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates and nonprofits. Firm clientele consists of a wide variety of industries, including physicians, golf courses, custom home builders, attorneys, artists, farmers, ranchers, insurance agencies, engineers, investors, contractors, real estate companies, land man businesses, and retirees.

Ann Harkins - Vice President

Mrs. Harkins joined the Board of Directors for Hill Country Mission for Health in 2018, after serving in other capacities for the Mission from 2007 to 2016. Her current primary responsibilities are to serve as an Ambassador of the Clinic advocating its mission to the public, assisting with the solicitation of major foundation grants and individual gifts, and fortifying fiduciary responsibilities on behalf of the Clinic. Ann initially joined the staff of Hill Country Mission for Health as a volunteer Nurse Practitioner in 2007, and continued to provide care for patients until her appointment as Executive Director in 2013.

Ann moved to Boerne in 2002, following 23 years in the Stanford University medical, academic, and clinical arenas. After arriving in Boerne, she joined the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, coordinating the Nurse Practitioner programs in the School of Nursing and Clinical Management in the Department of Urology in the School of Medicine.

Ann and her husband love living in Boerne, and in her retirement enjoys working with stained glass, sewing, and working in her church.

Ron Racinowski - Secretary

Mr. Ron Racinowski rejoined the Board of Directors at Hill Country Mission for Health in April 2020. He previously served as the Vice President and Finance and Budget Director on the Board from 2013-2016. Ron has a degree in Economics, and is a retired Army officer. He also retired from USAA where he served as a Vice President and General Manager of a USAA Regional Office. In that capacity, Ron has extensive Non-profit Board of Director experience as USAA‘s representative on over 10 different Boards.

Ron and his wife Barbara live in Boerne and are fortunate to have their son, daughter-in-law, and grandson also live in Boerne.

Tommy Martin - Treasurer

Mr. Martin joined the Board of Directors for Hill Country Mission for Health in 2018 as Treasurer. His primary role on the Board is to oversee the management and reporting of the organization’s finances.

Tommy and his family have been proud residents of the Boerne area since 1978. Tommy has been in the commercial insurance business throughout his professional career, and is currently with the Brown & Brown Insurance Group in San Antonio. Over the years he has served as officer and board member for a number of local nonprofit organizations and is committed to support the achievements of Hill Country Mission for Health.

Tommy is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and served six years with the Army National Guard of Texas.

Connie Padgett - Executive Director

Mrs. Padgett joined Hill Country Mission for Health in August, 2018 as Executive Director.  She is responsible for overall Clinic Operations which include the planning, development, and implementation of public relations initiatives and programs to build and maintain the positive image of the clinic while working with community, city, and county organizations.  Connie also serves as Ambassador of the Clinic advocating its mission to the public, as well as assisting with the solicitation of major foundation grants and individual gifts, and fortifying fiduciary responsibilities on behalf of the Clinic.

Prior to joining Hill Country Mission for Health, Connie’s professional experience includes a tenure of 29 years at Tauber Oil Company in Houston, TX – a privately owned oil & gas marketing company.

  • New patients must be screened for
    eligibility prior to their first visit.
  • Existing patients must call ahead to
